Bearish and bullish markets in the crypto space.

Image
Certainly!  Do you know why we use the terms "bullish" for rising markets and "bearish" for falling markets? Let's unravel the mystery: A bull attacks with its horns from the bottom up, symbolizing an upward market trend, while a bear attacks with its paws from the top down, representing a downward market trend. Another crypto universe mystery resolved. Cheers and thank me later.

Marriage face effect or convergence

Image
After marriage, it is common for husband and wife to start resembling each other in certain ways. This phenomenon is known as "convergence" or the "marriage face effect." There are a few reasons behind this resemblance: Shared environment: Living together as a married couple often means sharing the same environment, including diet, lifestyle, and habits. Over time, these shared factors can contribute to physical similarities, such as weight gain or loss, similar skin conditions, or facial expressions. Emotional bonding: Marriage is a relationship built on emotional connection and shared experiences. Research suggests that couples who are deeply connected emotionally tend to develop similar facial expressions, including smiles, frowns, and other nonverbal cues. This emotional bonding can lead to a mirroring effect in facial expressions and gestures. Mimicry and influence: Human beings are social animals, and we tend to mimic and imitate the people we spend the most

Snake Wine

Image
Snake wine, also known as snake-infused liquor, is an alcoholic beverage that contains a snake or snake parts. It's a traditional drink in some cultures (Asian/Chinese cultures), believed to have health benefits or aphrodisiac properties, though scientific evidence is lacking. The process involves placing a snake (often venomous) into a bottle of rice wine or grain alcohol and allowing it to steep for several months to infuse the liquid with the snake's essence. Drinking snake wine is a practice primarily in some Asian countries. However, it's important to consider ethical and environmental concerns related to using snakes in this manner. Stay healthy and be safe.

A funny experience with a little boy.

Image
So today I have decided to start the day by sharing a funny kid experience that still gets me laughing anytime I recount. Some days back, a neighbour asked me for some films and I shared with her on the phone. I also asked her to send me any interesting one on her phone too but her little son suddenly started crying and begging her not to give me. He was making so much noise that I lifted him up and asked him why I should not collect the film. His response astonished me when he simply told me that he would want to watch the film again because it is funny. It took me a very long time to convince him that sharing the film does not take it away from mummy's phone! Any of such experience? Share yours.

Will you buy the Satan shoe?

Image
Yeah. The "Satan shoe" is a custom sneaker that gained attention for its controversial design. It was a collaboration between the company MSCHF and rapper Lil Nas X, inspired by his song "Montero (Call Me by Your Name)." The design featured satanic imagery and a drop of human blood in the sole, sparking significant controversy and legal action from Nike, whose Air Max 97 shoe was modified for the design without their authorization Cheers! .

The Animal with the longest pregnancy in the world.

Image
The Chlamydoselachus Anguineus, commonly known as the "Frilled Shark," presents an enigmatic serpentine form, named for its frilly appearance and distinctive traits like sharp teeth and six pairs of gill slits encircling its throat. These gill slits impart a prehistoric allure and set it apart from other sharks. One of the most astonishing aspects is their gestation period, an unparalleled 42 months, nearly four years, making them the mammals with the longest known pregnancy. What amplifies this wonder is that, contrary to common perception, Chlamydoselachus Anguineus are mammals, showcasing viviparity, a remarkable adaptation in the realm of reproduction. Inhabiting depths of 120 to 1,280 meters (394 to 4,200 feet), this deep-sea creature challenges scientific observation due to its preference for profound ocean realms. Despite being found in various oceans, including the Atlantic and Pacific, specifics regarding their populations and distribution remain inadequately docum

Termites are source of renewable energy.

Image
Did you know that Termites might not be a direct source of renewable energy, but the process of utilizing termite digestive systems (bioreactors) to break down cellulose and convert it into biofuel is a potential renewable energy source.  The enzymes and microorganisms within the termite gut can aid in the production of biofuels like ethanol or methane from organic materials, contributing to a sustainable energy solution.  Other researches indicate that Termites can also produce up to 2 liters of hydrogen from ingesting a single sheet of paper, making them one of the planet's most efficient bioreactors! So in essence, termites are not just a social animal by accident. However, this technology is still in the research and development stages. The doctor, Terence Anthoney, believed that when Charles fell, he destroyed a small area in his brain that would have inhibited his hiccup response. Stay healthy!

Disinsection: Why are international plane flights get sprayed on arrival ?

Image
International plane flights are sometimes sprayed upon arrival for a variety of reasons. One common practice is known as disinsection, which involves spraying insecticides inside the aircraft cabin. This is done to minimize the risk of introducing pests or disease-carrying insects from one country to another. Disinsection is particularly important in regions where certain diseases, such as malaria or dengue fever, are endemic. Additionally, aircraft may be sprayed for agricultural purposes. Some countries have stringent regulations prohibiting the importation of certain plants, animals, or agricultural products due to the potential threat of pests or diseases. Spraying the cabin prior to disembarkation can help reduce the chances of inadvertently carrying such organisms into the destination country. It is worth noting that these spraying practices are regulated by international organizations, such as the World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Civil Aviation Organizatio

The town where dying is prohibited.

Image
Longyearbyen is the largest settlement and the administrative center of Svalbard, a Norwegian archipelago in the Arctic Ocean. It's known for its extreme polar climate, stunning landscapes, and unique wildlife. Yes, that's correct. Due to the extreme cold temperatures and permafrost in Longyearbyen, Dying or burying within the limits of Longyearbyen, Norway is prohibited. The town closed its lone cemetery over seven decades ago due to the exceptionally low temperatures, preventing the decomposition of buried bodies. Remarkably, some still retain traces of the 1917 influenza virus, as the cold preserved them. Will you like to pay a visit? Have a great day!

Did you know that water is older than the sun and the earth?

Image
Yes, water in its molecular form (H2O) predates the formation of the sun and Earth. The hydrogen and oxygen atoms that make up water were created in the Big Bang and through stellar processes in earlier generations of stars.  These elements, including hydrogen and oxygen, were present in the universe before the formation of our solar system, the sun, and Earth. The water we have on Earth has been around in various forms for a very long time, even before the specific formation of our planetary system. Scientifically, it is also believed that the sun predates the earth we live in. Do you believe in science? Cheers!

Turkey Country Vs Turkey bird.

Image
The relationship between Turkey, the country, and the turkey bird can be summarized through their shared name and some historical connections. The name 'Turkey' for the country is thought to have originated from the Medieval Latin word "Turchia," which was used to refer to the lands of the Byzantine Empire ruled by the Turks. The Turks, in turn, were originally a Central Asian nomadic people who migrated to the region and played a significant role in shaping the history of the area. However, the association with the turkey bird is less straightforward. The turkey bird, scientifically known as Meleagris gallopavo, is native to the Americas, specifically North America. It was originally domesticated by indigenous peoples in Mexico and was later brought to Europe by Spanish explorers in the 16th century. The Europeans initially mistook the bird for a type of guineafowl, which had a similar appearance to them, and thus called it "gallopavo."  When the Spanish

The most expensive coffee in the world!

Image
The most expensive coffees in the world is known as Kopi Luwak also called Civet coffee. This coffee originates from Indonesia and is renowned for its unique production process. Kopi Luwak is made from coffee beans that have been consumed and excreted by a small mammal called the Asian palm civet. The production of Kopi Luwak involves a somewhat unusual method. The civet eats the coffee cherries but cannot digest the beans. As the beans pass through its digestive system, they undergo fermentation and enzymatic processes. After being excreted, the beans are collected, thoroughly cleaned, and then roasted to produce the coffee. The demand for Kopi Luwak arises from the belief that the digestion and fermentation process enhances its flavor and reduces bitterness. However, scientific studies have shown mixed results in terms of taste improvement. Due to the labor-intensive and unique nature of its production, Kopi Luwak commands a high price, making it one of the most expensive coffees i

Déjà vu _ a sense of familiarity.

Image
Déjà vu is a phenomenon that refers to the feeling or sensation of having already experienced a current situation or event, despite knowing that it's impossible. The term "déjà vu" originates from the French language and translates to "already seen." People often describe it as a strong sense of familiarity or recognition, as if they have been in the exact same place or circumstance before. The exact causes and mechanisms behind déjà vu are not fully understood, and there are several theories attempting to explain this phenomenon. One popular theory suggests that déjà vu may occur when there is a temporary hiccup or glitch in the brain's memory retrieval process. In this scenario, the brain mistakenly interprets a current experience as a past one, leading to a sense of familiarity. Another theory proposes that déjà vu could be a result of the brain's difficulty in processing incoming sensory information. According to this theory, the brain might moment

Chronotype: sleeping and waking pattern.

Image
Chronotype refers to an individual's innate biological predisposition regarding the timing of their daily activities, particularly sleep and wake patterns. It's determined by genetics and influences when a person naturally feels most alert and energetic throughout the day. There are three(some school of thought believed there are four) main chronotypes: 1. **Morning chronotype (Morning Larks):** People with this chronotype tend to naturally wake up early in the morning and feel most alert and productive during the early part of the day. They typically go to bed early in the evening. 2. **Evening chronotype (Night Owls):** Individuals with an evening chronotype are most active and alert during the evening and night. They often have difficulty waking up early in the morning and may prefer staying up late. It is often tagged Wolf chronotype. 3. **Intermediate chronotype:** This refers to individuals who fall somewhere between morning and evening chronotypes. They have a more

Genu valgum Vs genu varum

Image
"Genu valgum" and "genu varum" are terms used to describe specific types of knee alignment abnormalities: 1. **Genu Valgum:**    Genu valgum, also known as "knock-knees," is a condition where the knees angle inward and touch each other when the legs are straightened. The lower legs appear to be angled outward. It is more common in children, especially during growth spurts, and can often correct itself as the child grows older. 2. **Genu Varum:**    Genu varum, also referred to as "bow legs," is a condition where the knees are angled outward, and there is a distinct gap between the lower legs when the feet are together. It gives the appearance of a bow shape in the legs. Like genu valgum, genu varum can also be more prevalent in children during their growth stages. Both genu valgum and genu varum can be variations of normal growth and development, especially in children, and may resolve on their own as the child grows. However, severe or persist

Death valley, a desert where rocks move!

Image
Death Valley is a desert valley located in Eastern California, in the northern Mojave Desert, within the United States. It's known for extreme heat, being one of the hottest places on Earth, and its unique geologic formations and landscapes. Mysteriously, rocks in Death Valley are known to move. The phenomenon is seen in a dry lakebed called the Racetrack Playa. Large rocks move across the flat surface, leaving long tracks behind them, likely due to a combination of wind, water, and ice.  However, the exact mechanisms behind this movement were not fully understood until recent studies suggested that a unique combination of ice sheets, wind, and occasional rain allows these rocks to slide across the playa. Cheers!

Otoliths or ear stones as observed in some fishes.

Image
Otoliths, also known as ear stones or  otoconia, are tiny calcified crystals located in the inner ear's vestibular system found in the inner ear of vertebrates, including fish and humans.  For fishes, otoliths are used for balance and hearing (they're smaller in humans but used for similar purposes). They help in detecting changes in head position and linear acceleration, aiding in the sense of balance and spatial orientation. Disorders related to otoliths can lead to balance and dizziness issues. Otoliths are common in Alaska hakes or European hakes popularly called Panla.

Why Judges break pen after a case.

Image
The act of judges breaking a pen after a case is not a universal or standardized practice. However, it has been observed in some legal traditions and jurisdictions. The symbolic gesture of breaking a pen can serve multiple purposes, depending on the context and the judge's personal beliefs or intentions. Here are a few possible explanations for this practice: 1. Finality and Closure: Breaking a pen can symbolize the finality and closure of a case. Once a judgment is rendered, the legal process is deemed complete, and breaking the pen represents the end of that chapter. It signifies that the judge has fulfilled their duty in making a decision, and there is no turning back on the ruling. 2. Symbolic Release of Responsibility: Breaking a pen can also represent the release of the judge's responsibility for the case. Let's talk about teeth misalignment

Image
Teeth misalignment, also known as malocclusion, occurs when the teeth do not align properly. This condition can affect both the appearance and functionality of the teeth and jaw. There are several types of malocclusion, each with its own characteristics: 1. **Overcrowding**: Lack of space in the jaw causes teeth to bunch up or overlap, making it difficult to clean them properly. 2. **Underbite**: Lower front teeth protrude farther than the upper front teeth, causing the lower jaw to jut out. 3. **Overbite**: Upper front teeth overlap significantly over the lower front teeth. 4. **Crossbite**: Some of the upper teeth bite inside the lower teeth, causing an incorrect bite pattern. 5. **Open Bite**: When certain teeth do not meet when the mouth is closed, leaving a visible space. 6. **Spacing**: Gaps or spaces between teeth can occur due to missing teeth or abnormal growth of the jaw. Treatment for teeth misalignment may involve: - **Orthodontic Braces**: Traditional braces use wires an
