A friend in need is a friend indeed!

 


Heart-wrenching tale:

A man, desperate due to his ailing mother, called a friend, pleading for money to afford her medicine. The friend promised to help, asking to be called later. When the man called back, the phone was switched off. Frantic and forlorn, he sought other friends but found no aid. Disheartened, he returned home only to discover medicine by his mother's side, brought by the very friend who seemed to abandon him. Tears welled in his eyes as he learned that his friend had sold his phone to buy the medication. This selfless act revealed the essence of true friendship - unwavering support in times of dire need. A friend's sacrifice, a testament to the bonds that make them akin to brothers. May we all be blessed with such genuine companions.
